Beyond The Sea
Cordelia Records
Here the idea was to have international Surf instrumental bands record unlikely cover tunes. I chose the Serge Gainsbourg composition Je t'aime ... moi non plus, using my Fender Jaguar and a melodica for alternating leads. A very traditional sound, with some inspiration from by The Sandals' Theme from The Endless Summer, from the famous mid 1960s Bruce Brown movie. Resulting in a manifesto for the love of the oceans. ...and the joys of chilling on the beach.

Hair
Omom Music
Hair. Yes, the Hippie musical. My choice was Good Morning Starshine. I tried and went for a Lonely Surfer (Jack Nitzsche) kind of arrangement with lead Surf-bass and big strings. I’m quite pleased by the results. Be prepared, it’s over the top - like the whole concept.

American Graffiti Revisited
Omom Music
American Graffiti Revisited was the first compilation I contributed to after finishing The Tiki & The Guitar album. Obviously the idea here is to revive the classic soundtrack through interpretations by contemporary Surf and Rock'n'Roll bands. I chose See You in September, drawing some arrangement ideas from personal favs Santo & Johnny.
