We are finally getting around to posting some videos from the Lux Archives. Check out our YouTube page for videos of Brian Wilson rehearsing for his 2001 Pet Sounds Tour, Lalo Schifrin performing the Mission Impossible Theme at the old Lux studios, and a short video documenting the birth of LuxuriaMusic on February 14, 2001. LuxuriaMusic Fund Drive Status
Donations have slowed down significantly in the past few days. As of October 30 our donations tally is up to $4151. Remember that our goal to keep the station up and running through the rest of the year is $7500, so we need another $3349 before we can safely say that Luxuria is going to be around till January ‘08.
Sadly, most of our donations are coming from the same core group of people. Only 11% of the people that receive this newsletter have donated money to LuxuriaMusic. Please keep in mind that if everyone who receives this newsletter today donated TWO DOLLARS AND FORTY NINE CENTS we would reach our goal. Or if all our MySpace friends donated SEVENTY SEVEN CENTS we would reach our goal. Please donate today.
