For those reading this in a feed-reader, I redesigned this blog a tiny little bit, you might want to see what it looks like. Along with it came the new name – The Exotic Blog of Kahuna Kawentzmann.
Also the Recommended Listening page now has some of my iTunes iMixes, which are basically compilations that everybody can create. Currently I have 23 iMixes of which several are just comps by tune, like the Greensleeves mix which has 65 tracks!
Incidentally the other day I contemplated the possibility to publish iMixes online to the world outside of iTunes, to sample the tracklists. I thought it SHOULD really be possible to be affiliated with the sales resulting from the published iMixes. The other links on the Recommended Listening page have affiliate links, but iMixes are so much more creative and interesting. Everybody can be a compiler now, but the efforts of really good comps should be possible to be monetized, otherwise Apple gets all of the dough (and the artists hopefully).
