Like I mentioned a while back, I was going to post the mails I had back and forth with people at a independent music aggregator. Aggregators are companies who bring your music to online stores. It’s a service that came to life because for example Apple’s iTunes was interested in independent artists but not in the necessary gatekeeping. It’s been Tiki Traveling with… that was causing much trouble several times. I was always offered different explanations, while The Tiki and The Guitar was always running smoothly through all steps at the same time. I will make this a series of posts, going backwards in time.
2/2/10, aggregator:
It’s on its way, I’ll check it and make sure it goes through okay. Old albums like this SOMETIMES run into problems, I’ll keep an eye on it. :)
2/2/10, Kahuna Kawentzmann:
Oh well, I did so. Like you told me.
Would be very kind, Thanks you!
2/2/10, aggregator:
Kahuna, I never got notice that you’d re-uploaded. Have you? If so, I’ll push it again.
Sorry for any confusion. Confirm you’ve reuploaded?
2/2/10, Kahuna Kawentzmann:
So?
1/20/10, aggregator:
Okay, Kahuna, I checked, this is a VERY old album, I suspect the audio may not be right. So!
I’ve RESET your album so you can RE-RIP and RE-UPLOAD your music.
Please be sure to completely RE-RIP every track to .wav files, 44.1 kHz, 16-bit (precisely this, no more no less!), STEREO, and RE-UPLOAD each one.
Once you have, email me and I’ll take it from there.
Here’s help on how to get the right format:

Thanks, as soon as you’re done, don’t try to pay or “continue” or anything, just email me and I’ll take it from there.
Then I’ll redeliver to our widget bucket and that SHOULD do it!

Hi,
