I can’t resist any video with a 1960s style main title inspired animation like this one. Click to view the video of Doctor Legume.

Is this guy cool or what?I can’t wait until he releases his album.Which is hopefully soon.
Yeah. I bet you’re the first to have it. Then what? I don’t believe in albums so much anymore.
That has got to be weirdest response ever.Sorry about your non-believe in albums.Long Live the Album!
I’m sorry. I should have been more specific. I don’t believe in rock albums anymore. Did you think milk and honey will flow forever?
Is everyone from Germany this pessimistic? It seems to be the general outlook from every German I have spoken to in the last few years. So negative, yet so vague about what you really try to say.The Doctor Legume a surf/instro record, it would obviously not be a huge seller, the same will go for your bands album.Maybe your bitter about it not topping the charts.Instro music will probably never top the charts, and make anyone alot of money ever again. As a musician, and fan of this genre it too frustrates me how this music isn’t more popular, and taken more serious.Yet I chose to look at it this way.People like you and I,are the cool ones.We know what “real” music sounds like. It’s not about the radio or MTV,It’s about good music.Simple as that, some can identify it,some people can’t.To me I’m glad average Joe doesn’t like the music we like.Just keep making the music that pleases you,and at the end of the day you’ll know you’ve gave it your best.
What was vague and pessimistic that I said? I know what I am talking about. Ever since I started supporting myself (and now my family) I have been working in the music business. You are saying instrumental music will never top the charts again – if that is of any significance to you, such words are pessimistic in my ears. But for the jolly pirate, ripper and uploader it’s words that make him comfortable. Because then he knows we can‘t sue his sorry a$$.
It makes me very angry how you put yourself on a level with me. I am different from you. I can record, compose, play guitar and quite a lot more that has to do with music and marketing it. Making it known. I don’t have a problem with average Joe, as long as he’s not trying to enter the cool club like you do.
